Samaneh (Sama) Rezvani (1984) is a researcher at DEMO and a part-time lecturer at TU Delft, Faculty of Architecture and Built environment. She has a Master of Science degree in Architecture from Politecnico di Milano (2013) and a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Tehran Azad University (2007). Sama has worked as an architect in diverse architectural firms in the Netherlands (2013-2018). Following her interests in the fields of spatial analysis, synthesis, and computational design, she has worked in R&D projects as a guest researcher in the chair of Design Informatics at TU Delft, co-authoring papers and developing software tools for computational design. Currently at DEMO she is working on two EU research projects, namely BIM-SPEED and SAFEWAY, where DEMO implements new methods and innovative ideas in software tools. BIM-SPEED aims to improve the energy efficiency of buildings during a renovation process using a central BIM cloud platform, and SAFEWAY aims to improve the resilience of transport infrastructures using a central GIS platform.
