My research focuses on a probabilistic approach to assist architects and designers decision-making in the early design stage. The Dutch NTA 8800 building energy performance indication model comes short in the early design phase, when many parameters are yet unknown. Besides that, the model presents its response values in a deterministic format, in which the input-output associations are incredibly difficult to interpret cognitively.
