by Alejandro Fuentes, Computational Designer @KCAP
The importance of performance evaluation procedures in guiding design decision-making processes is evident, especially in urban architecture where the inherent conflicts between qualitative goals and contextual impacts of the choices that are aimed at reaching those goals makes design processes particularly challenging. Alejandro’s expertise in evaluation-driven configuration (massing) and a shared interest for ‘getting serious with computational design through environmental evaluations’ led to a spontaneous exchange & discussion between Alejandro and Pirouz that is illustrated in this talk.
